Kilkee is located in the scenic west coast of County Clare. It is approximately a 45 minute drive from Ennis travelling on the N68. Kilkee is just beyond mid-way between the the world famous Cliffs of Moher and the unspoilt beauty of Loop Head on the N67 coastal route. If you are coming from County Kerry, the Shannon Ferry is perfectly located connecting Tarbert in North Kerry to Killimer just 15 minutes from Kilkee.

Travelling by Air

Shannon International Airport is approx 72 km from Kilkee (65 minutes drive). The airport is well serviced by Aer Lingus, Ryanair, Delta, Continental Airlines, US Air, Royal Jordanian & Skynet. The airport offers full 24-hour services including a domestic service to Dublin and a network of passenger and freight services to 26 international & European destinations.

Travelling by Bus

Getting around Kilkee

Kilkee is a very comfortable town to walk around. If you are driving take note that due to the narrow nature of some of the streets there are many one-way systems operating in the town but all are well sign-posted.
