    The Cafe @ The Strand adds a new dimension the institution we all know as the Strand Kilkee ..we serve freshly ground coffee and lots of blends of teas as well as a selection of homemade freshly cut sandwiches , soups and our famous Atlantic chowder.For those that want something more filling we have our "Catch of the day" or a gourmet beef burger. Our desserts are also all homemade.

It's perfect for self-catering as you can come here at 8.30am before breakfast to collect freshly squeezed orange juice, fresh fruit salad with natural yoghurt, honey and walnuts, smoothies and the best ever mixed berry and cinnamon scones or a wee Irish breakfast.

    Owned and operated by Imelda Bourke and her husband, Pat, baking starts at 5.30 each morning, and they produce the most amazing selection of breads, cakes and desserts.
