Kilkee Events Listing 2009
May 2009
18th to 24th May - Plouhinec Traditional Boating Festival
Kilkee is twinned with a town in Brittany called Plouhinec and we have been invited to a traditional boating festival 18th to 24th May 2009. We are planning a group trip with a West Clare Currach and a 3 man naomhog to partake in the festival. All are welcome (particularly rowers). Flights to Nantes (out on the 21st and back the 26th) with Ryanair are reasonable at the minute. Anyone interested in travelling, contact (086) 8202181 or kevin.heapes@gmail.com and we can help arranging accommodation and so on. As is usually the case, we need to firm up numbers as soon as possible.
